There is a new prawning,patin fishing at punggol, beside that they have salt water fishing which is similar to patin fishing. The only different is that you have to use baits, they charge $8 per rod and the bite rate is good. Heard from the staff that there is ACK, Ang Kuay, Taiwan Ngog in the pond.
Wifey decided to give it a try.
After few trys, i decided to give a shot on the patin pond. This pond is different from Hai Bin as the hook is smaller and you need to set the hook on the fish which is not easy. I still prefer Hai Bin's patin fishing.
Will be going to Desaru on 4 April,stay tune for my catch report.

A Mr Lim (operator staff from previous) tells me the following:
1. Still a 24 Hr operation
2. Inside a golf course ground
3. VIP card from previous still applicable
4. My 7 month wait is over (previous operator stopped in end Aug 2011)

ReplyDeleteJohnark, you have to live prawn as bait. That day went there never land anything. Salt water pole fishing is harder compare to fresh water
